14 March-21 April 2024 - We celebrated Hari Raya by partnering with KL6, an emerging women-led sustainable fashion brand, to promote eco-friendly fashion during the festive season, which traditionally sees high levels of fashion waste. We provided KL6 with the entire Ground Atrium to showcase their Sustainable Raya 2024 collection and hosted a launch event on March 19, 2024, inviting media representatives and VIPs, including Tuan Ariffin bin Samsudin, Director of the Ministry of Domestic Affairs and Cost of Living, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur. The event featured a fashion show with a Raya Open House concept, highlighting KL6's innovative sustainable fashion approach. Throughout the weekends, all six KL6 designers conducted free workshops on topics such as "Natural Dye," "Special Needs Fashion," and "Patchwork Design," while also selling their products, enhancing community engagement and promoting sustainable fashion education. Additionally, we placed three bins (57 cm x 55 cm) for shoppers to donate pre-loved clothes, which were then used by KL6 for upcoming collections. We successfully collected 150 kg of fabric, contributing to KL6's upcycling initiatives and reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
